Through the years I’ve used hair products far and wide trying to find the perfect products. People with curly hair know the struggles, and that maintaining curly hair is a full-time job.

For me, it just became a lot easier with the help of the quench and curl line from Rhyme & Reason! This company is a 10/10 rated performance brand that is eco-friendly. Their products are 92% naturally derived, cruelty/vegan free and the bottles are made of 100% recycled materials. The creators behind this amazing female owned brand are Christina Siden and Anne Trench.

Before discovering the quench and curl line at my local Target I found my hair to be very dry/malnourished and overall just not how I wanted to be, look or feel while using other products in my hair.

This line gives my curls a pillow soft feeling, yet still maintains definition and hold. Personally, I have never found a product that I haven’t had to pair with something else to make my curls pop. This line’s leave-in conditioner is now all I need!

This is how I use these affordable products ($8.99) in my hair. I start by lathering the quench and curl shampoo and detangling my hair in the shower, followed up by generously distributing the conditioner throughout my hair. When I get out of the shower, I use the line’s leave-in conditioner.

Having about four sections I rake the product through the sections and begin to use the shingle method. Shingling is when you take individual curls and smooth them to limit frizz and get maximum definition.

After this I finish off with using Rhyme & Reasons argan oil smooth finishing serum. The curly hair line has a natural peachy scent, so by the end of this journey I have perfect curls that smell delicious!

For all the non-curly headed people, don’t worry, Rhyme & Reason has several other lines with the same great qualities. Including: Nourish & Gloss (for all hair types), Repair & Restore (for dry, damaged hair), Volume & Boost (for fine, flat hair) and Colour Protect (for colour-treated hair).

Overall this brand has really changed my curly hair journey, and it makes it so much more enjoyable knowing that these products have qualities that go toward positive changes.
